Role Summary/Purpose     The Service Sales Specialist is responsible for first class efficient and effective administrator support to the Service Commercial Team in day-to-day business and sales operations and activities. The sales specialist will also be responsible to create and win sales opportunities for their revenue product segments / solutions / contracts in an assigned territory, or in a list of named accounts or both. The Service Sales Specialist may work individually in an account or territory.

Essential Responsibilities     Administration:

• Supporting Service Account Managers/Sales Specialists on all commercial Handling of all relevant types of work submitted into the department whether multi-vendor or core GE product based offerings
• Support and manage tender/bid processes including the needs qualification, vendor selection, quotation and closure of their product/solution/service opportunities to meet sales and margin targets as well as to maximize customer satisfaction in the assigned territory
• Supporting commercial team in quotation preparation and customer pricing enquiries, including dealers
• Support commercial team in managing opportunities in the applicable sales CRM tools (where necessary)
• Maintain database accuracy for all service contracts (MSA)
• CWF and KYC Process Management
• Loading contracts into all applicable processes including additions, deletions and modifications to existing contracts. This includes field communications to all stakeholders
• Coordination and preparation of sales / finance review tracker
• Local MSA documentation requirements (where applicable)
• Order, track and deliver all goods upon receipt of a validated Purchase Order or signed Quotations
• Manage inventory of accessories and supplies (A&S) to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders and as well as track overall aging of inventory
• Effectively manage and prioritize all responsibilities with minimal supervision

Commercial Sales:

• Accountable to achieve Service Contract (MSA) / Non-Contract Sales OP target for assigned accounts and / or territory
• Ensure pricing compliance for all opportunities
• Identify and create new opportunities and work with sales / service account managers to continuously increase prospect and opportunity funnel
• Preparing, submitting and following up of service contract proposals to customers with expiring warranty and service contract renewals
• Manage opportunities and funnel using applicable CRM sales funnel tools and reports for their assigned territories / accounts
• Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their service product segments. Be able to present and discuss the value proposition and benefits which are relevant to customers
• Anchor the telesales initiative for service commercial team
Qualifications/Requirements     1. Diploma degree and above
2. 3-5 years of experience in sales administration and / or relevant fields
3. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
4. Proficient in the soft skills necessary to be an effective communicator between customer / dealers, internal field / operations team, cross functional teams including equipment sales team and OTR
5. Team player and committed to deliver on goals and priorities
6. Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple functional owners / teams
7. Multi-tasking skills and prioritization
8. Proven leadership and effective decision-making capabilities
9. Ability to manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction, and relevant contractual commitments
10. Good system knowledge and proficiency
11. Ability to adopt changes to systems and processes, including identifying opportunities to simplify to drive productivity in operations
